Let me tell you a little story.
A little story about some teeny strawberries left over in a big fridge and a teeny carton of whipping cream chilling in the big fridge door.
They longed to be together.
Being the good person that I am, I decided to unite them.
I placed about 1/4 cup of whipping cream that I had leftover in the refrigerator, into a bowl. I added about a 1/2 teaspoon of sugar and a dash of cinnamon, then used a hand mixer to beat the cream into stiff peaks.
I cleaned and removed the stems of some sweet strawberries I bought at the Hanford Farmers Market then topped them off with yummy whipped cream.
It’s so easy! I put the mixing bowl into the freezer for 5 minutes prior to mixing the cream, so the whole process took me less than 10 minutes!
It was a simple, easy, delicious, light desert which curbed my sweet craving at the time. It is the perfect desert for 1. I think I will do it again tonight!
