There is actually a whole website dedicated to this day with instructions how to participate and a call sign generator! Even CNN has a video talking about it! People are posting pictures and videos of themselves in aviator sun glasses and flight suits… I couldn’t resist sharing my photo! My day pretending to be an aviator…
The movie Top Gun was entertaining, certainly a classic (and one of the highest grossing movie in the 80s)! But I know first hand how hard those pilots work!
I think it is a perfect opportunity to continue Military Appreciation month (going on the whole month of May!) I will make sure to thank my Navy Man today… what are you going to do to thank a military member!?
