I Am a Cookie Monster

4 Aug

I am having a HUGE sweet tooth lately! I have been scouring through blogs and bookmarking cookies like crazy! I am convincing myself not to make any since I know I will end up eating ALL of them! My bikini is currently thanking me for not making any of these delicious looking cookies below….

Picky Palates dessert recipes are FANTASTIC. I have legitimately made at least 25 of her desserts and they ALWAYS come out fabulously) These are some of my absolute favorites: Candy bar stuffed chocolate chip cookies!!!! ( I stuffed mine with snickers!)

How Sweet It Is makes brown sugar blueberry cookies! How have I not thought to put blueberries in cookies before this! I have frequently used blueberry buckles, blueberry coffee cakes, and blueberry muffins as excuses to have cake for breakfast the past few weeks, why not use it to justify having a blueberry cookie for breakfast! It is fruit, it has tons of antioxidants, I will practically be getting healthier with every bite, right!?

My Baking Addiction’s Pumpkin Oatmeal cookies. These make me think of fall, although the weather makes it clear fall is NOT here. I pretty much have canned pumpkin in my pantry at all times, so I might have to whip these up to at least have a taste of fall as I am sweating and cursing my oven for making the house an even 98° to match the temperature outside. Plus the cookies add dried cherries (I will swap for cranberries, because I LOVE dried cranberries) and white chocolate chips! What a fantastic flavor combination!

What are your favorite cookies! Please share, I would love to try something new!

Oatmeal choco chip cookies! You will never do just plain chocolate chip cookies again! I bet your cookie monster husband will even let you replace the Tollhouse recipe with this one! It makes a GIGANTIC batch, so you could definitely freeze some of the dough. I’ll email you the recipe.
